Are you shocked by this post? If yes, you can imagine how shocked (or maybe amused) a native speaker would be if you tried to pay her a compliment by saying “I like your teeth /tiːθ/”, but instead, because you don’t get the pronunciation right, what comes out is “I like your tits /tits/”.
Getting the pronunciation right for the word “teeth” seems to be very challenging for elementary and pre-intermediate level learners, but it really IS crucial that you get it right!
